Hey, I'm Andra—a passionate illustrator, motion designer, creator, and proud mom. I established this brand with a vision: to cater to those who embrace bold, illustrative styles and seek unique, one-of-a-kind accessories.

As a child, I was mesmerized by my mother's collection of earrings, with their vibrant and eclectic 80s designs. Yet, I rarely had the chance to wear them.

My earring journey has been an interesting one, marked by sensitivity and discomfort. I sought refuge in surgical steel and other materials, hoping to alleviate the issue.

My desire to wear earrings daily, as an expression of my mood and style, led me to realize that I couldn't be the only one facing such challenges. It turned out that only a select few shared my extreme sensitivity to earring materials, and one of the safer options was titanium. However, the variety of titanium earrings on the market was disappointingly limited.

I, therefore, embarked on a journey to create earrings that embody fun and personal expression and are carefree — for everyone. My aim is for you to enjoy your earrings for years to come, free from worries.

P.S. Wondering about the name Verenvriend? It means 'Feather Friend' in Dutch. As an avid bird enthusiast, I wanted a name that held personal significance for my jewelry brand. You may also know me by my other creative alias, Stutpak, where I craft illustrations and motion projects.
